A safe and secure Castle Vale

Ten years ago: The environment in Castle Vale encouraged a significant fear of crime. The 1994 MORI resident survey found that 35% of residents never went out after dark.

Now: The 2002 Birmingham Crime and Disorder Audit found that Castle Vale was one of only two areas in the City where people felt that the fear of crime had reduced in the last three years.

**Latest News: crime reduced again in Castle Vale ! (Click here for details)
